Summary:  Provides personal attention to the guest and to ensure complete guest satisfaction from beginning to the end of guest treatment(s) by performing the following duties.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.   
 
  • Warmly greet and welcome guests, providing a professional, friendly, and relaxing experience.
  • Provide guests with a tour of the spa and explain the proper use of the sauna, steam room, lounge, lockers, and other amenities.
  • Anticipate guest needs, answer questions, and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit.
  • Build warm, professional relationships with guests and recognize returning members by name.
  • Be knowledgeable about daily treatments and appointments while maintaining guest privacy and confidentiality.
  • Promote spa services, and retail products in a natural, service-oriented manner.
  • Assist guests with safe and proper use of the sauna, steam room, lockers, and other facilities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, comfortable, and well-stocked lounge and spa environment.
  • Monitor facility conditions and promptly report safety concerns, maintenance needs, or other issues to management.
  • Maintain inventory of towels, sandals, amenities, and other assigned supplies.
  • Complete daily checklists and follow all opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout all guest-facing areas.
  • Handle busy or stressful situations with professionalism and composure while maintaining a positive guest experience.
  • Demonstrate patience, empathy, active listening, and genuine care for guests.
  • Work collaboratively with spa management and team members to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Maintain a polished appearance and adhere to all uniform and grooming standards.
  • Demonstrate reliability, flexibility, energy, enthusiasm, and a strong attention to detail.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Hourly Rate:

$16.50 + Gratuities

                                               
Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
 
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
 
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals (chlorine & pool chemicals).  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
