Maintenance Technician

Description of the Role:

The Maintenance Technician at The Ruby Hotel & Bar will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and appearance of the hotel and bar facilities. This includes performing routine maintenance, responding to guest requests for repairs, and conducting regular inspections to identify any issues that need to be addressed. The Maintenance Technician will collaborate with the maintenance team and other departments to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction and a safe environment for both guests and employees. As a representative of the company, the Maintenance Technician is expected to exhibit a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to guest requests for maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as checking HVAC systems and replacing bulbs
• Conduct inspections to identify and address any safety hazards or potential maintenance issues
• Collaborate with the maintenance team and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and submit reports as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar maintenance role
• Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures and equipment
• Ability to problem-solve and work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
