The Morton Arboretum is a world-renowned nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and growing trees locally and globally. We are seeking a gift processor to join our team to add and update information in our constituent relationship management platform, Salesforce. The successful candidate will have prior experience working in an advancement/development office, comfortable working in a fast-paced setting, able meet deadlines, work independently and as part of a team. You’ll be part of a great team working together to make the Arboretum exceptional.
Responsible for timely, accurate, and confidential entry of donor and membership gifts; event registrations and constituent updates, within the constituent relationship management platform, Salesforce. Use advanced functions to export and import data from several third party platforms.
Accurately enter/update constituent information, including gift transactions, memberships, demographic information, and other related data in Salesforce.
Assist with database integrity through continual audit of data, including the identification and merging of duplicate contact records, updating membership card data, and other related data.
Responsible for donor event entry and related reporting.
Assist with departmental special events and projects as required.
Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma required, some college experience preferred. Demonstrated computer and data entry proficiency and accuracy required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google applications, and experience using a fundraising database software preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills required. High degree of confidentiality required. Knowledge of basic accounting principles preferred.
