Arborversity Project Coordinator

Position Summary: Provide key support for a grant-funded project to create and share a curriculum to advance training for horticulture staff working at public gardens and arboreta using the Arboretum’s learning management system (Arborversity). Responsible for helping cultivate and maintain a nationwide network of project partners at other public gardens and arboreta; setting up and facilitating virtual meetings and workshops; and serving as a hub of project documents and communication. Once the curriculum has been established, this position will also play an important role in helping administer content and users in Arborversity and creating documentation to support its implementation at partner gardens. Funding for this position is temporary and expected to last through August 2027.
Essential Functions:

Help recruit and establish relationships with partner gardens and arboreta across the country.

Work with internal project team to elicit, document, and evaluate feedback from project partners related to project materials and resources.

Organize, support, and report on project meetings and workshops. Work with project director to create and share agendas, create presentation materials, schedule meetings, take notes, and share action items.

Track project progress and share regular updates with the core team and project partners. Help prepare, organize, and share project-related assets, including documents, timelines, course materials, reports, and surveys.

Serve as the project administrator for Arborversity, the Arboretum’s Docebo-based Learning Management System. Import and onboard new users, assist in creating notifications and workflows, and develop basic onboarding materials for project partners and their staff.

Manage grant-related documents, including contracts, invoices, timelines, and progress reports.

Represent the project among professional networks and at conferences and workshops.

Demonstrate alignment with the Arboretum’s employee core values to be inclusive, take ownership, work together, keep learning and make the Arboretum exceptional.

The expected hiring range is between $23.00 - $26.00/hour based on experience that will be evaluated during the candidate selection process, along with internal equity.
