The Lodge at Historic Lewes is seeking an organized and communicative Scheduler/Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial to ensuring high-quality resident care by developing, managing, and maintaining optimal staffing schedules. In addition to scheduling, this position supports the accurate processing of bi-weekly payroll and ensures compliance with company policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling: Develop and manage daily, bi-weekly, and monthly schedules for resident services team members, ensuring regulatory compliance and proper staffing levels.
  • Communication: Proactively communicate schedule changes, open shifts, and policies to staff; keep management informed of staffing issues.
  • Payroll & Attendance: Monitor team member time and attendance records, and assist with accurate, timely processing of bi-weekly payroll.
  • Administration: Respond to payroll/timekeeping inquiries, maintain staff confidentiality, and track FMLA/LOA/Worker’s Compensation in collaboration with HR.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Experience: Previous experience in a senior living or healthcare setting is required.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with scheduling/payroll software is a plus.
  • Attributes: Excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to sit, stand, and walk frequently.
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs consistently, and assist with heavier loads occasionally (up to 250+ lbs with assistance).
