  • salary range of $73,149-$78,149 per year; based on licensure and previous relevant experience

Primary Duties for Crisis Stabilization Therapist:

  • Provide clinical assessments of clients to justify placement in the Crisis Stabilization Center.
  • Provide brief psychotherapy and motivational interviewing for new consumers, as needed.
  • Coordinate and promote integration of the program with other agency programs to enhance client outcomes.
  • Manage program performance to ensure medically necessary services are provided in the quality and quantity needed to promote client stabilization.
  • Ensure that all clinical services provided are following clinical guidelines of The Guidance Center and regulatory bodies

Minimum Qualifications for Crisis Stabilization Therapist:

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:

Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy or Professional Counseling, and licensure by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as a  LMSW, LMLP, LMFT, LPC, LSCSW, LCP, LCPC OR LCMFT by the first day of employment.

One year of experience working in a residential or crisis stabilization unit providing services to clients in acute and crisis situations and supervising clinical staff.

Preferred: one year experience with the Kansas system of community-based mental health care and associated evidence-based practices.
