Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.

• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.

• Utilize and interpret electronic parts catalogs and guides to specify needed parts for clients.

• Promptly answer phone calls, emails, and electronic orders and provide price quotes, needed information, and excellent service to customers.

• Review body shop estimates to verify the parts ordered are correct and that all pricing is in line.

• Pull/fill orders from stock and maintain weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of parts inventory.

• Notify parts management of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.

• Locate back-ordered and out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit an emergency order, if necessary.

• Receive and process customer payments, count nightly cash drawer, prepare deposit, and categorize, file, and distribute all daily paperwork.

Qualifications

• Prior auto parts sales experience required, dealership parts sales preferred but not mandatory

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Be polite and friendly, greet customers promptly and deliver exceptional customer service.

• Handle customer concerns in a sensible manner by showing empathy and a pleasant attitude.

Physical Requirements

• Sitting, walking, bending, twisting, and kneeling on a regular basis

• Lifting and carrying up to 60 lbs

• Reaching and/or lifting overhead

• Climbing stairs

• Repetitive hand/finger movement
