What You’ll Do

 

• Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes, menus, and portion guidelines

 

• Ensure meals meet quality, presentation, and dietary standards

 

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control policies

 

• Support special diets and dietary restrictions as directed

 

• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and food prep areas

 

• Assist with inventory, storage, labeling, and rotation of food items

 

• Work closely with the dining services team to ensure timely meal service

 

 

 

What We’re Looking For

 

• High school diploma or equivalent

 

• Previous cooking experience in healthcare, senior living, or high-volume food service preferred

 

• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe food handling practices

 

• Ability to follow recipes, menus, and instructions consistently

 

• Strong time management skills and attention to detail

 

• Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently

 

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

 

• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
