Licensed Practical Nurse

The Avaline at River Oaks is seeking FT LPN's to cover our 7am to 3pm shift's and 11pm to 7am shift's. As our staff nurse, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and professional nursing care to our residents. This position involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive and respectful environment, ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of all individuals under your care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while closely monitoring patient responses and documenting all care provided.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
• Perform routine assessments, monitor vital signs, and report any significant changes in patient conditions to the supervising nurse or physician.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with all regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Provide emotional support and education to residents and their families, promoting a positive and therapeutic environment.
• Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and safety procedures to ensure a clean and safe care setting.

Requirements

• Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Tennessee.
• Demonstrated experience in a long-term care or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Compassionate attitude and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of others.
