Part Time Tutor

General Summary
Responsible for a variety of support activities.

Essential Job Functions
The job responsibilities for a teacher aide may vary greatly from location to location; however, consider the following responsibilities when hiring:

• Ensures teaching materials and supplies are available for teacher's use prior to and during the instructional hour.
• Ensures room is properly set up and clean.
• Assists with tracking and managing student attendance.
• Assists with the efforts to retain students in the program.
• Monitors “Ace it!” Tutoring rewards (store).
• Acts as a substitute teacher in scheduled teacher’s absence (if person also meets “Ace it!” Tutoring teacher requirements).
• Performs other duties, as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Must be able to solve problems in a quick and efficient manner.  Must have good communication skills and be detail oriented and organized.
