Truck Driver/Equipment Operator

Double L Enterprises is looking to hire an applicant willing to jump in and get the job done, whether that be as a machine operator, manual laborer, truck driver or repairs. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operating lead, low boy, dump truck, dozer, excavator, front end loader and roll-off truck.
• Deliver and pick up equipment and material
• Ability to work on a variety of projects such as: driveways, septic systems, demolitions, foundations, basements, retaining walls, hauling material and more.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Perform daily pre and post trip inspections, maintenance and fueling of equipment.
• Ensure professional, safe and efficient operation of vehicles and equipment at all times.           
• Courteously interact with customers and/or the general public.
• Know and follow all company safety policies as well as OSHA, MIOSHA, MSHA and ANSI regulations.
• Able to perform duties and responsibilities with little to no supervision.
• Receive and follow written or oral instructions.
• Perform manual labor to prepare or finish sites, such as shoveling materials by hand.
• Practice safety at all times including driving of company vehicles and operation of company equipment.
• Use PPE while on jobsite including hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility clothing, steel toe boots, pants and gloves.
• Take initiative and anticipate what needs to be done.
• Work in conjunction and as a team with your crew.
• May assist other craft workers.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan class A operator’s license.
• Ability to read and interpret a map legend or GPS to locate service addresses.
• Mechanical skills highly beneficial.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
