Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Night Shift Laundry Production Supervisor to oversee nightly operations in our high-volume commercial laundry facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising production staff, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining quality standards, enforcing safety policies, and achieving nightly production goals. This leadership role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead production employees during the night shift.
• Ensure all production areas are operating safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
• Monitor workflow through sorting, washing, drying, finishing, and shipping departments.
• Coordinate staffing assignments to meet production demands.
• Train, coach, and develop employees to improve performance and productivity.
• Conduct shift meetings and communicate daily production goals and expectations.
• Monitor quality control procedures to ensure customer standards are met.
• Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and attendance expectations.
• Identify and resolve operational issues that could affect productivity or quality.
• Work closely with maintenance personnel to address equipment concerns and minimize downtime.
• Complete production reports, employee documentation, and shift summaries.
• Assist with employee evaluations, corrective actions, and performance management as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or commercial laundry environment preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to motivate employees and maintain a positive work environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Experience managing production schedules and meeting performance goals.
• Basic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, and production reporting systems.
• Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a production environment with heat, humidity, noise, and moving machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
• Ability to inspect equipment and production processes throughout the facility.
