Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and dependable Production Worker with previous
manufacturing or production experience. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality, safety,
teamwork, and productivity and is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing
environment. They should be capable of operating production equipment, following established
processes, and using computer systems to support daily operations, while being eager to learn
additional production processes and equipment.
This position plays an important role in achieving daily production goals while maintaining
Superfeet’s high standards for safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
What you'll do:
- Promote a strong safety culture by identifying and reporting hazards and maintaining a safe workplace.
- Follow all safety, quality, sanitation, and standard operating procedures.
- Operate production machinery and equipment, including gluing, packaging, and other equipment as trained.
- Learn basic machine operation, settings, setup, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and startup procedures.
- Monitor equipment and promptly report malfunctions or concerns to the Production Lead.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet established quality standards and report quality concerns.
- Follow work orders, production priorities, SOPs, and work instructions accurately.
- Use computer systems to enter and review production information, work orders, quantities, and other required documentation.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, to support production activities.
- Assist with tracking production output, downtime, and quality issues.
- Communicate production, quality, equipment, and staffing concerns to the Production Lead.
- Safely operate a forklift as required to move materials and products throughout the facility.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
- Cross-train and provide support in Shipping and Custom as needed.
- Support team members and contribute to continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Needed:
Required:
- Previous manufacturing or production experience.
- Ability to operate and learn multiple types of production equipment.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to accurately enter, review, and maintain production information.
- Experience using Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
- Strong basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and accurately follow work orders, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Reliable, accountable, safety-minded, and willing to learn new skills.
- Ability and willingness to operate a forklift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred:
- Previous forklift operating experience or current forklift certification.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment with multiple processes or types of equipment.
Working Conditions:
- Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Occasional overtime, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
- Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and rotate
- Repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
Compensation: $21 - $23/hour DOE, + Company & SMART goal Bonus opportunities
