Who Are We Looking For?
The eCommerce Site Manager ensures the execution of a comprehensive eCommerce plan while driving engagement and conversion on multiple client websites. They are responsible for delivering superior user experience utilizing technology, data, and insights to streamline product discovery, selection, and purchasing. This includes managing product information and data across global websites. This person will need to be a highly analytical individual, comfortable with leading from strategy to execution.
What You’ll Do:
- Leverage eCommerce best practices, site optimization, merchandising, and UX to increase conversion rates, enhance consumer experiences and optimize functionality and content.
- Lead the content and merchandising workstream for the eCommerce/DTC team, which may include: new content development, new shopping experience development, landing page strategy, promotions set up and execution (including merchandising), etc.
- Develop and manage quarterly site optimization agenda. Manage outside agency and internal development resources to optimize site performance and reach revenue goals.
- Works with marketing team to develop and execute weekly, monthly, and yearly content & merchandising calendars that align with and support the overall global brand calendar and eCommerce business plan.
- Manage front-end site experience of websites to optimize content and product discoverability, including site taxonomy, merchandising, internal site search, facets, filters, and more.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure the timely and accurate rollout of website content and merchandising changes while upholding brand style guides. Responsible for QA and approval of content prior to launch. Writes and submits briefs as required.
- Manage site data to ensure all product and page content is updated with appropriate images, pricing, and copy.
- Helps improve standards, systems, and best practices for new product listings, content creation, distribution, and maintenance.
- Define site merchandise strategy to achieve revenue and gross margin targets utilizing insights generated through analytics and understanding of consumer behavior.
- Be a key contributor to weekly and monthly business reviews highlighting current eCommerce business trends and opportunities. Identify and act on risks and opportunities.
- Partner with DTC team to analyze top to bottom eCommerce P&L revenue, gross margin, contribution margin, and profitability. Identify actions to optimize overall P&L performance against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets and commitments.
- Regularly analyze eCommerce KPIs, results, risks, and opportunities with cross functional teams to connect them into business performance.
Your Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical, organization, prioritization, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, presentation, project management and planning skills.
- Ability to process complex information and present it clearly and simply.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to plan and execute projects involving multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in DTC eCommerce merchandising and content experience.
- Experience with Shopify Plus platform.
- Proven track record of developing successful eCommerce, merchandising, and content strategies that result in measurable business outcomes.
- Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
Compensation: $110,000/year
Location & Territory: Remote within the U.S.
