Superfeet is searching for a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis who will be responsible for leading financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic analysis with a focus on sales and growing margin performance. This role will oversee P&L forecasting, ensuring alignment with senior leadership, sales, and operations to provide actionable insights that drive profitable growth and improve financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
- P&L Ownership: Lead forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives, with a focus on revenue through gross margin.
- Sales-Driven Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models that analyze sales trends, pricing strategies, and margin performance.
- Gross Margin Optimization: Partner with sales, marketing, and operations to assess profitability, product mix, and cost structures to maximize gross margin.
- Strategic Business Partnering: Work closely with sales leadership to evaluate pipeline performance, customer trends, and pricing strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Variance & Trend Analysis: Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analyses, identifying key drivers of performance gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- KPI Development & Reporting: Define and track key financial and operational metrics, ensuring visibility into performance drivers and risks.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product, marketing, operations, IT, accounting, supply chain, and other departments to ensure consistency in financial reporting and forecasting assumptions.
- Financial Systems & Process Improvement: Enhance forecasting tools, dashboards, and reporting processes to improve efficiency and decision-making.
Skills and Abilities:
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and forecasting tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Tableau, Power BI).
- Sales & Margin Expertise: Strong understanding of revenue forecasting, sales pipeline analytics, and margin management.
- Analytical & Strategic Mindset: Ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
- Communication & Influence: Strong executive presence with the ability to translate financial insights into strategic business recommendations.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Experience: 7+ years of FP&A, financial modeling, or corporate finance experience, preferably in a sales-driven or product-focused environment.
Compensation: $140,000 - $170,000/year DOE
Job Location: Hybrid/Remote
