Parts Counter

Join the team at Suntrup Ford as a Parts Counter associate, where you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and support to both our internal teams and customers. This position offers a compensation range of $18.00 - $28.58 per week. Please note, this is a union position with the Teamsters, with pension and health and welfare. 

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians in selecting and procuring the correct parts required for the job. 
• Provide accurate information regarding parts availability, specifications, and pricing.
• Process sales transactions efficiently and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with the parts warehouse and service department to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain an organized and clean parts counter and inventory area.
• Support inventory management through ordering, receiving, and stocking parts.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills. CDK knowledge is a plus. 
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts and terminology preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and inventory software is a plus.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
