Lot Manager

Sudbay Automotive is seeking a dedicated and organized Lot Manager to oversee the daily operations of our vehicle inventory and ensure the efficient management of our lot. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the appearance, safety, and organization of the lot while supporting sales and service teams in achieving overall company goals. This position is based in Gloucester, MA.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the organization and appearance of the vehicle lot.
• Coordinate vehicle arrivals, departures, and placement to maximize space and accessibility.
• Ensure all vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for customer viewing or delivery.
• Collaborate closely with sales, service, and delivery teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and lot equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Oversee lot maintenance and liaise with vendors or service providers as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and vehicle movement.
• Implement and enforce lot policies and procedures to maximize operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in lot management or a similar role within the automotive industry preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of vehicle inventory systems and basic maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment with varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
