Parts Counterperson

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Parts Counter person to join our team at Stamford Kia. We are a growing dealership that specializes in selling Kia automobiles and providing a wide range of automotive services to customers. As a Counter person, you will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and helping to promote a positive and up-beat working environment.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time position that pays $20 to $24 per hour, paid bi-weekly. We offer competitive benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and more.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with selecting and purchasing necessary OEM and aftermarket parts.

• Answer telephone calls and respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

• Research and order parts as needed.

• Count and price inventory according to specified procedures.

• Keep up-to-date records of parts purchases, sales, and prices.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in the Automotive Parts industry preferred

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Basic computer skills and knowledge of automotive parts

• Valid Driver’s License
