We are looking for a New & Pre-Owned Finance Manager at in Stamford,CT. You will play a crucial role in supporting our dealership's success by managing all aspects of vehicle financing for new and pre-owned vehicles. This position involves working closely with customers to secure financing options that fit their needs while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will be a key member of our team, driving customer satisfaction and dealership profitability through expert financial guidance and relationship building. Must be very strong in pre - owned and leasing aftersale.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in obtaining financing for new and pre-owned vehicles, evaluating credit applications and recommending loan approvals or alternatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with lending institutions to provide competitive financing options.
- Work closely with sales staff to coordinate the finance process efficiently and effectively.
- Explain financing terms and options clearly to customers, ensuring transparency and understanding.
- Review and process all necessary loan documents and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze each customer's financial situation to recommend the best financing solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and customer information.
- Stay informed about industry trends, lending standards, and dealership policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager in the automotive industry, specifically handling both new and pre-owned vehicle financing.
- Strong knowledge of finance and leasing best practices, credit analysis, and lending institutions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, targets-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information professionally and confidentially.
- Familiarity with finance software and dealership management systems is a plus.
