The Role: BDC Director
As our BDC Director, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of our Business Development Center (BDC), managing a well-trained and motivated team that is responsible for driving showroom traffic, maximizing appointment set-to-show ratios, and delivering exceptional guest experiences from first contact to follow-up. You’ll bring the right mix of strategy, accountability, and mentorship to help our BDC thrive in a high-volume environment. We're looking for someone who knows VinSolutions inside and out, has a strong grasp of CRM best practices, and can drive growth, culture, and consistency.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Lead, train, coach, and support BDC Associates to hit monthly goals for appointments, show rates, and sold units.
- Ensure prompt, professional communication with all inbound and outbound sales leads.
- Monitor CRM (VinSolutions) daily for activity, data hygiene, follow-up performance, and opportunity recovery.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to align BDC strategy with storewide goals.
- Conduct weekly 1:1s and team huddles to motivate, train, and develop performance.
- Identify and improve weak points in the BDC process, you’ll have the support and freedom to fix what’s broken.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new BDC team members when needed.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and fun team culture that reflects our values.
Who We’re Looking For:
Proven BDC Management Experience (3+ years preferred)
VinSolutions Mastery: You know how to dig into data, coach to metrics, and drive usage
High energy and self-motivation: You’re hungry to make a difference
Leadership & Accountability: You can lead a team with empathy and hold them to a high standard
Process-minded: You’re always thinking about how to improve
Excellent communication: Verbal, written, and interpersonal
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with CDK, vAuto, or other automotive tools
- Background in sales or marketing analytics
- Familiarity with digital retailing strategies

Work Environment
