Subaru Dealership Auto Mechanic

Position Overview:

We are looking for an Experienced Automotive Mechanic with several years of hands-on experience and the proper certifications to confidently perform complex diagnostics and repairs. This is not an entry-level role for lube technicians —this position is specifically for a seasoned technician capable of handling, but not limited to, high-level work such as engine, transmission, and other major component repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced mechanical repairs, including but not limited to, engine overhauls, transmission repairs, drive-train work, and complex diagnostic procedures

• Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using manufacturer-approved tools and systems

• Complete repair orders efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards

• Work collaboratively with service advisors, parts staff, and other technicians

• Maintain a clean and safe workspace

• Ensure all work complies with dealership and manufacturer standards

Qualifications:

• Several years (3+ preferred) of professional automotive technician experience

• Relevant certifications (ASE, manufacturer certifications, or equivalent)

• Strong diagnostic abilities and familiarity with advanced repair procedures

• Proven experience completing engine, transmission, and major mechanical repairs

• Ability to work independently and efficiently

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
