Job Summary:
The Restorative Nursing Assistant at Stonebrook Healthcare Center in Concord, California is a full-time, individual contributor role at our skilled nursing facility.
This position will be responsible for providing hands-on, restorative care to residents who have a high potential for functional decline. The Restorative Nursing Assistant will work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and Rehab Director and will assist with carrying out personalized care plans for each resident based on physicians orders.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is $22 to $26 per hour pending experience and will be paid semimonthly. Responsibilities:
• Provide hands-on restorative care to residents, following their personalized care plans and under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and activities designed to maintain or improve residents’ physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming as needed.
• Monitor residents’ progress and report any changes or concerns to the charge nurse.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to carry out resident care plans.
• Conduct ongoing evaluations of residents’ functional abilities and make recommendations for changes to care plans if necessary.
• Document all care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
• Adhere to all healthcare standards, regulations, and infection control protocols.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED; current certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of an approved Restorative Nursing Assistant training program.
• At least 1 year of experience providing hands-on care to residents in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of restorative care techniques and experience with therapeutic exercises.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
