About the Position
Steven Toyota is seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant to assist customers through the vehicle purchase process, from initial greeting to final delivery.
This is a fast-paced, performance-driven role ideal for someone who is customer-focused, motivated by results, and eager to build a long-term career in automotive sales.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist with vehicle selection
- Demonstrate vehicle features, technology, and benefits
- Guide customers through test drives, trade evaluations, and financing steps
- Follow up with prospects, unsold traffic, and previous customers
- Utilize CRM daily to track communication and opportunities
- Build strong customer relationships to generate repeat and referral business
- Work closely with management and finance teams to support deliveries
- Meet and exceed individual sales goals
Qualifications
- Previous sales or customer service experience preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred to effectively serve our diverse customer base
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
- Self-motivated with a competitive drive to succeed
- Positive attitude and team mindset
- Coachability and willingness to learn dealership processes
- Valid driver’s license required
Compensation
$20–$30 per hour during training, based on experience
Transition into:
- Hourly plus performance incentives
- High-earning commission pay plan
- Heavy commission structure based on experience and results
Compensation grows as product knowledge, customer base, and sales performance increase.
Schedule
- Full-time position
- 5-day work week
