Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our main shop. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles while utilizing advanced diagnostic tools. The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude, mechanical expertise, and an eagerness to continually learn new technology. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform work specified on the Repair Order (RO) with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.

  • Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using electronic diagnostic tools and special service equipment.

  • Accurately diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more.

  • Communicate directly and effectively with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed of any additional services needed and provide accurate time estimates for those repairs.

  • Execute repairs under warranty strictly to manufacturer specifications.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Automotive Service Technician experience preferred.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • ASE Certification required (B-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair).

  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.

  • Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination.

  • Ability to learn new technology, repair/service procedures, and specifications in a dynamic environment.

  • Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

  • Positive, friendly attitude, team-oriented mindset, and an eagerness to improve.
