Entry Level PHP Developer

Are you eager to kick-start your career in web development?  We're looking for an Entry-Level PHP Developer to join our team in building full-stack software solutions for the automotive retail industry.  This role is perfect for someone with strong problem-solving skills who is keen to grow and develop their expertise. 

You'll work alongside experienced developers, gaining hands-on experience with modern web technologies, including MySQL, Symfony, Tig, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript, and Hotwire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and the Symfony framework, following the MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture.
• Work with MySQL databases and Doctrine ORM to efficiently store and manage data.
• Build and style web pages using Twig templating, Tailwind CSS, and JavaScript.
• Use Hotwire to enhance real-time interactivity in web applications.
• Write clean, structured, and well-documented code while following best practices. 
• Debug issues and contribute to improving website performance and security.
• Collaborate with experienced developers, learning through code reviews and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Basic experience with PHP and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and basic command-line operations.
• Understanding of MVC architecture and relational databases (e.g. MySQL).
• Some exposure to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
