Service Cashier

The Cashier at Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Little Rock is a crucial role within our company. As a Full Time Cashier, you will have the opportunity to join our dedicated team in the Auto industry and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dealership. You will be responsible for handling all financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner, while providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist with any initial inquiries or concerns
- Process payments for vehicle purchases, services, and parts using a variety of payment methods
- Operate the cash register and accurately enter all transactions
- Balance daily cash, credit, and check transactions
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- Provide outstanding customer service and address any customer concerns or disputes related to payments
- Assist with maintaining and organizing financial paperwork and records
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding financial transactions

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records
- Proficient in using cash registers and other payment processing equipment
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of accounting software preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
