About the Position

Our Cooks play an important role in creating a positive dining experience for our residents. You will prepare and serve high-quality, nutritious, and appealing meals while following established recipes, food safety guidelines, and company standards.

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, works well under pressure, and enjoys being part of a team dedicated to serving others.

This is a part-time position with 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM shifts. Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining an organized, clean, and efficient kitchen and food service department.
• Prepare and serve attractive, nutritious, and high-quality meals for residents.
• Follow recipes, menus, portion guidelines, and established food preparation standards.
• Demonstrate proficiency in basic food production and preparation techniques.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Maintain consistent food quality and presentation.
• Work collaboratively with the culinary and dining services team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of cooking experience in a similar position.
• Experience preparing meals for large groups preferred.
• Knowledge of special diets and dietary restrictions preferred.
• Current Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain one as required.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipes.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and assigned shifts.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check.
