We are seeking a part-time Med Tech to join our team at The Grand at Spokane in Spokane, WA. The open shifts may include nights and weekends depending on staffing needs. Your Role
Our Med Techs provide activities of daily living and other services to residents in accordance with their service plan, the Stellar way: with kindness, in a gentle, friendly, and professional manner, and with respect for residents' dignity and privacy.
- Pass medications per the care plan requirements
- Provide high-quality resident care and support with activities of daily living in accordance with each resident's service plan
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, bathing, and mobility in a kind and dignified manner
- Answer resident calls promptly and determine how best to assist them
- Ensure residents receive the appropriate diet by reviewing dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences
- Observe and respond to changes in residents' physical condition, behavior, or needs and report them to the appropriate team member
- Chart notes accurately and timely for each resident, documenting care provided and needs identified
- Communicate effectively with residents experiencing communication barriers
Qualifications
- Must have a current HCA or NAC certification and maintain CEUs as required by the state
- Must have a current Washington Food Worker Card and current certification in CPR and First Aid, or be willing to get certified within 30 days of hire
- Prior experience in a senior living or care setting preferred
- Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment, as well as independently
- A can-do attitude and a genuine compassion for working with the senior population

The expected pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, and other relevant factors.
