Job Overview:
As an FP&A Analyst, you will provide comprehensive financial analysis, insights, and strategic support to cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Operations, and Senior Management. Your responsibilities will include:
- Involvement in the annual budgeting process
- Financial reporting
- Forecasting
- Ensuring that financial goals and performance are met with accuracy and foresight.

Responsibilities (How You’ll Help Us Win)
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial budgets.
- Provide support for monthly internal and external financial reporting.
- Create presentations, dashboards, and reports that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
- Work closely with Accounting and Operations to review monthly financial statements for accuracy and research variances to the budget.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across financial systems, including budgeting tools, Yardi, and reporting dashboards.
- Create and maintain cash flow forecasts and debt service coverage calculations.
- Research contracts and management agreements.
- Support various ad-hoc and special project requests from management.
Skills (What You’ll Need to Succeed)
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of experience in finance, accounting or a related area.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced formulas, charts, and dashboards.
- Experience with Yardi, PowerPoint, Canva, Smartsheet, Vena, Spreadsheet Server, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau is a plus.
- Results-oriented, high-energy self-starter with ability to manage through ambiguity in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to balance multiple, competing priorities and maintain strong organizational skills.
- Ability to articulate financial concepts to non-finance business partners in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience analyzing staffing models and labor expense drivers in senior living or healthcare settings.
- Conduct what-if scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling to evaluate financial outcomes under varying assumptions.
- Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels.
- General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles.
- Experience developing financial reports and metrics.
- Understanding of Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing occupancy metrics.
- Strong understanding of forecasting, inflation metrics, historical trends, and valuations.
