Job Description

Life Enrichment Assistants are responsible for Driving facility bus to scheduled outings. Assisting residents on community outings, assisting with pushing wheelchairs, facilitating the planned activities in a Skilled care community. This involves everything from leading exercise classes and brain power activities, sports, reading aloud, facilitating socials and art classes.  Must be comfortable driving a passenger bus, flexible, dependable, work well under pressure and be a self-starter. 

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activity programs of this community
• Transport residents to scheduled weekly outings via bus.
• Executing planned activities & completing one-on-one activities. 
• Observe and document residents' attendance, mood and level of participation to evaluate the effectiveness of activities and monitor resident progress. 

Qualifications

• Valid Drivers License.
• Must be flexible, dependable, work well under pressure and be a self-starter.
• Able to move at least 50 pounds, including wheelchairs, tables and equipment on a regular basis.
• (Preferred) Valid Colorado CNA's Certificate
