Dietitian

Springs Village Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietitian to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our residents through personalized nutrition care plans and expert dietary guidance.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ nutritional needs and develop individualized meal plans.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition programs and make adjustments as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure proper dietary care and compliance with medical requirements.
• Provide education and counseling to residents and staff about nutrition and healthy eating habits.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to dietetic services and resident care.
• Stay current with latest dietary guidelines, research, and best practices in nutrition care.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field; Registered Dietitian (RD) credential preferred.
• Proven experience working as a dietitian in a healthcare or residential care setting.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets and nutrition care planning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Valid license to practice dietetics in Colorado is preferred.
