Job Description

Job Title: Wait Staff Supervisor

Department: Dietary

Essential Employee Position: Must be willing to work weekends, Holidays, and during inclement weather.

Hours: 8:00am- 4:00pm (This position will work weekend & holidays, no exceptions)

Pay Rate: $18.00

Summary:

Responsible for the supervision of the dining room operations and wait staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Must be able to work weekends & holidays.
• Frequent lifting & moving. Must have the ability to lift, move, push, pull, carry, & transfer 50lbs with the physical capability to perform all job-related duties.
• Act as the designee for the wait staff supervisor services during the off hours when he/she is not present.
• Supervise employees during all phases of dining.
• Conduct routine dining room inspections for safety and sanitation.
• Provide leadership in the event of any safety or unusual incident occurring in the facility appropriately.
• Interact with residents in the dining room.
• Follow cleaning schedule as posted.
• Stay overtime in case of emergency.
• Attend In-Service education meetings.
• Assumes wait staff duties as needed.
• Ability to be courteous and patient with all residents, guests, and employees who eat in the dining room.
•  Ability to carry food and beverages to tables.
