Job Description and Responsibilities

 

The Project Coordinator role at Solid Digital is a crucial role in our company. This person will manage day-to-day support work generated by our account teams and incoming client requests. They are responsible for responding to clients as they make requests, defining and clarifying the work, planning and resourcing our team, and delivering a quality solution back to the client. Most requests for this role are smaller in nature and not large projects, although some existing client requests can be larger on occasion. The person who would be the best fit for this role would want to be in frequent contact with our clients and team on small to medium-sized initiatives. Most of the time, you might be dealing with 5-10 clients concurrently. If you like managing a small number of large projects, this probably isn't the best fit.  If you enjoy smaller projects, this would be a better fit. 

 

Project Coordinators are proactive collaborators and detail-oriented problem solvers who support all aspects of our Support Programs. They work closely with project leads to understand the client’s business, help interpret challenges, align on goals within the defined scope, and keep project tasks organized and moving forward. Their role is essential in ensuring clarity, consistency, and momentum throughout the process.

 

We are expected to develop a positive working relationship with our clients and team - one that showcases our subject matter expertise and exposes them to ideas & solutions that they might not have been previously aware of.

  • Plan and manage website, support, and digital marketing projects in alignment with scope, budget, timelines, and Solid Digital project management best practices.

  • Act as an advisor and provide clear and consistent communication with our clients. 

  • Deliver our services with a strong focus on the client’s experience..

  • Operations: Understands how our organization delivers our offerings and can speak to and execute our processes following best practices. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with the project team to plan and manage tasks and projects, including design work, web development tasks, website support, ongoing audits, and digital marketing.

  • Confidently and proactively provide clear and consistent communication to both our clients and project team to ensure everyone has what they need in advance and is clear on the next steps.

  • Execute project production and delivery in alignment with the project scope, on time, and within budget.

  • Prepare for and participate in weekly resourcing meetings and daily team standups.

  • Scope, estimate, plan, and manage support work.

  • Facilitate client meetings for the clients you manage.

  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors that are working on your tasks/projects.

  • Reporting on available hours, budgets, and obtaining renewals for additional work. 

 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Support Manager at a Digital Agency, working on managing website support and small website redesign projects.

  • 3+ years of experience managing client work using WordPress

  • Clear and concise written, verbal, and presentation skills

  • Professional remote working environment 

  • Reliable internet to accommodate video conferencing and screen sharing 

  • Authorized to work in the United States
