Program Facilitator – Part-Time

Location: Lancaster, PA
Hours: 20–30 hours/week (daytime availability required)
Pay: $14–$16/hour

Snapology of Lancaster is looking for Program Facilitators to lead fun, hands-on learning activities that help kids build confidence and creativity. You’ll teach STEM and STEAM programs using our ready-to-go curriculum, while helping to make each class or event run smoothly. If you love working with children and enjoy a mix of structure and play, this could be the perfect fit!

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Fun Classes & Camps: Teach playful, hands-on programs for children ages 3–14 using Snapology’s provided curriculum and materials (no prior STEM experience needed — we train you!)
  • Create a Positive Environment: Keep kids engaged, safe, and having fun while encouraging teamwork and creativity.
  • Support Smooth Operations: Set up and clean up activities, prep supplies, and help keep materials organized for yourself and your team.
  • Pitch In Behind the Scenes: Assist with light administrative tasks like preparing materials, organizing schedules, or helping with communication and logistics.
  • Connect with Families & Partners: Greet parents, answer questions, and represent Snapology in a friendly and professional way.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children in group settings (like camps, childcare, after-school programs, classrooms, etc.)
  • Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a love for working with kids
  • Comfortable leading small groups and managing behavior with kindness and confidence
  • Organized, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Reliable transportation to travel to off-site program locations in Lancaster County, Hershey, and Reading (mileage reimbursed when applicable)
  • Able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs
  • Must pass federal, state, and child abuse background checks

Work Schedule:

This position is based at our Lancaster Center, with occasional travel to schools and community venues. Programs are held Monday–Friday during the day, with some evening and weekend shifts possible. Candidates must have daytime availability during the week. Schedules vary and are provided in advance.
