Responsibilities:
- Efficiently perform work specified on repair orders, adhering to dealership standards.
- Conduct test drives and utilize diagnostic tools and special service equipment to test components and systems.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers about any additional services needed and provide estimates for extra repair time.
- Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience as a Service Technician.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Advanced certifications may qualify for signing bonuses.
- Must have B-level qualifications, including expertise in Diagnostics, Electrical Systems, and Engine Repair.
- Demonstrated dexterity, steady hand, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer literacy.
- Positive and friendly attitude with a strong eagerness to learn and improve.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
- Team player with strong collaboration skills.
- Willingness to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
