Job Summary:
The Automotive Sales Assistant/Product Specialist supports customers throughout the car-buying process by answering questions and providing valuable information about the products and services offered by the dealership. This dynamic role involves assisting Salespeople with vehicle deliveries, including handling insurance, registration, accessories, and providing a thorough review of the vehicle's features and functions.

Responsibilities:
- Build lasting relationships with customers by helping them select the right vehicle based on their needs
- Be an expert on our products, including optional packages, features, and the latest technology
- Conduct high-quality, professional demonstrations of new and used vehicles
- Follow up with buyers to encourage referral business
- Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations
- Report directly to the Sales Manager on objectives, activities, and performance
- Bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic every day
Qualifications:
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Eagerness to learn about new products and features
- Excellent communication skills with customers
- Professional appearance and grooming
- Clean driving record
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screen

- Compensation: $30,000 - $50,000 annually
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist customers who enter the dealership, offering guidance and direction
- Help customers make informed purchase decisions by asking relevant questions and listening attentively to their needs
- Develop strong relationships with both customers and colleagues to enhance the sales process
- Explain the benefits, performance, and applications of our products
- Report to the Sales Manager on objectives, planned activities, and performance analysis
Qualifications:
- Enthusiasm and energy throughout the sales day
- Friendly, competitive personality with the ability to handle objections and negotiate pricing
- Strong customer service skills, with proficiency in computer and basic math
- Interest in training new sales associates and working as part of a team
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
