We’re on the hunt for a Sales Manager to lead our charge in the SMERF (Social, Military, Educational, Religious, and Fraternal) markets. This is your opportunity to join a high-performing team at a top-tier property where your work will directly impact business success and guest satisfaction.
What You’ll Do:
Be the Face of the Hotel: You'll represent Sheraton Valley Forge to clients, partners, and the public. You’ll know our property inside and out and confidently promote our unique value to the market.
Hunt for Opportunities: From cold calls to community events, you’ll uncover new leads, dive into data, analyze trends, and use your savvy to grow our customer base.
Drive Sales Growth: You'll craft compelling proposals, tailor events to clients’ needs, and negotiate like a pro to seal the deal. You’ll be given the autonomy to innovate and win.
Own the Client Relationship: From the first hello to the final toast, you’ll ensure a seamless, personalized client experience. You’ll build loyalty through exceptional service and follow-through.
Stay Organized and Accountable: Track your progress, hit your targets, and always keep an eye on the numbers. Your reporting and records will be just as strong as your pitches.
What You Bring to the Table:
5+ years of hotel sales experience with a focus on the SMERF or group segment
A degree in hospitality, marketing, business—or an equivalent combo of education + experience
A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
The creativity to customize every proposal, the passion to chase every lead, and the follow-through to close
Willingness to travel locally and occasionally overnight
