Serra Champaign Automotive Group is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing service team. Key Responsibilities

• Perform automotive repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders

• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems

• Test-drive vehicles and use electronic diagnostic equipment to identify issues

• Communicate repair needs and time estimates clearly with Service Advisors

• Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications

• Maintain a clean, organized work area and protect customer vehicles

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience

• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures

• Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair software

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Basic computer, reading, and math skills

• Ability to learn new automotive technology and repair methods

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Team-oriented, reliable, and detail-focused

• Valid driver’s license required
