Caregiver - Prairie Grove Area

Senior Helpers of Northwest Arkansas is urgently hiring a caregiver in Prairie Grove and the surrounding areas, including Farmington, Lincoln, and Canehill. This position is ready to start right away for the right person.

We are looking for a warm, personable caregiver with experience in end of life and hospice-style care. You will support a senior and their family during one of life’s most meaningful and tender seasons, helping your client stay comfortable, dignified, and surrounded by familiar things at home. Your patience, steady presence, and kind communication will mean the world to the families you serve.

Job Duties:

• Provide comfort-focused care and assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and repositioning
• Offer calm, compassionate companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Observe and report changes in your client’s condition, comfort, or needs to the office team
• Work alongside family members and outside care providers, such as hospice teams, to support the care plan
• Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up

Qualifications:

• Experience with end of life, hospice, or palliative care is strongly preferred
• Personable, patient, and compassionate, with the ability to communicate gently with clients and families during difficult times
• Emotionally steady, dependable, and comfortable in sensitive situations
• Willingness to learn new skills to best assist your clients
• At least one year of experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance, or nursing assistance is required
• Reliable transportation to reach clients in the Prairie Grove area
