Status & Salary: Full-Time; Exempt: $60,000 - $62,000/year plus performance-based bonus opportunities tied to number of clients signed up for services; based on applicable skills & experience.
SUMMARY OF ROLE
The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for maintaining and developing new and innovative marketing methods. This position’s objective is to drive strategy and scale growth, while creating an environment and culture that provides strong vision, direction, and support that will impact the company’s growth and ensure success for all.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

- Analyze market conditions and trends, including, but not limited to, competitors and influence centers; overall goal to explore areas of business opportunity.
- Identify additional markets and business development opportunities.
- Identify all local influence centers (hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living with rehabilitation or respite care, doctors’ offices and other health providers) to determine lead sources.
- Develop and manage new referral sources through face-to-face meetings, networking and digital strategies.
- Develop blueprint and sales strategy.
- Perform client assessments; coordinate with the office staff to ensure client starts in a timely manner.
- Personally visit and arrange meetings with persons responsible for or in a position to refer clients, this includes private, public and non-profit organizations.
- Utilize monthly marketing calendar to coordinate activity with national focus.
- Arrange presentations of Senior Helpers services at staff meetings in hospitals, nursing homes, doctor’s offices and private companies.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, networking events representing Senior Helpers services. Network with others in the industry to develop additional lead sources.
- Manage various marketing and advertising methods including social media. digital marketing, direct mail, print ads, networking, and develop new methods of marketing with assistance from the Franchisor’s Marketing team.
- Maintain and manage a (CRM) Customer Relationship Management system.
- Analyze weekly activity reports, KPIs, and marketing data and utilize information in these reports to strategize how to gain additional clients based on the data.
- Provide weekly report to owner summarizing all activities from the past week and your strategy for the upcoming week.
- Meet to exceed sales objectives.
- Always represent the company with professionalism.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Must have exceptional organizational, rapport-building skills ask excellent follow-up, be an active listener and attentive to detail, as well as prioritize tasks in a changing environment.
- Must have excellent communication skills. Ability to maintain consistent relationships with prospects and referral sources.
- Ability to develop partnerships gaining the commitment and buy-in of others.
- Understanding and adhering to SMART goals and other performance goals set by the supervisor.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Ability to travel to referral sources throughout Northern Queens, NY.
- Ability to report to the office near Astoria-Ditmars Blvd N/W station when requested.
- Demonstrated ability to operate safely in the workplace.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in related field of study is preferred.
- Minimum of 1+ years of work related experience in the home health industry; 3+ of experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook is required.
- Ability to learn other software programs quickly.
- Any appropriate and effective combination of any of the above.
