Caregiver - Idaho Springs / Georgetown / Clear Creek

Caregivers needed in Idaho Springs & Clear Creek County — up to $24/hr

Senior Helpers of Evergreen is a new local agency hiring caregivers to serve seniors right here in Idaho Springs, Georgetown, Empire, Dumont, Central City and Black Hawk. Skip the I-70 commute and work in your own community. Experience in home care, assisted living or healthcare is a plus, and if you’re new to caregiving, we’ll train you (paid).

Paid training at the Evergreen office, then you'll serve the community you live in.

Job Duties:

• Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned
• Conversation & Companionship
• Some Meal Preparation
• Light Housekeeping
• Errand Services
• Grocery Shopping
• Incidental Transportation
• Laundry & Linen Washing
• Clothes Shopping
• Recreational Activities
• Grooming & Dressing Guidance
• Organize Incoming Mail

Qualifications:

• Caring and Compassionate—you enjoy helping others
• Willingness to learn new skills to best assist your clients
• Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance a plus!
• Must have reliable transportation, car insurance/valid drivers license and ability to arrive at shifts on time
• Pass a Background Check
• Physically capable of assisting with lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Comfortable with mountain driving, AWD/4WD preferred 
• High school diploma or equivalent
