Senior Helpers of West Cuyahoga & Lorain Counties is actively seeking trusted, compassionate, and reliable caregivers who are passionate about helping seniors remain safe and comfortable in their own homes.

Pay Rates

• Standard Pay: $16 – $20 per hour
• Weekend Premium Pay Shift added

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Support mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide medication reminders
• Monitor and report changes in client condition
• Accurately document care provided
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and office staff
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands when needed

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
• Proven reliability and punctuality are essential
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to pass background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screening
• Caregiving experience preferred but not required
• Parkinson’s and Dementia care experience are a plus but not required
