Senior Helpers of Western Cuyahoga & Lorain Counties is actively seeking dependable, compassionate, and reliable caregivers who are passionate about helping seniors remain safe and comfortable in their own homes.

Due to our continued growth, we need compassionate caregivers committed to showing up on time, treating clients with dignity and respect, and providing exceptional care, we want to hear from you. Whether you are experienced or just beginning your care giving career, we provide the training and support needed to succeed.

 

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Be available for shifts based on client’s schedule
• Assist clients with daily living activities including:
  • Bathing, personal hygiene, dressing and grooming, toileting and adult diapering
• Support mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals
• Provide medication reminders
• Monitor and report changes in client condition and accurately document care provided
• Communicate effectively with clients and office staff

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
• Proven reliability and punctuality are essential
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to pass background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screening
• Care giving experience preferred but not required but must be willing and able to perform all responsibilities noted above
• Parkinson’s and Dementia care experience is a plus but not required

Pay & Benefits

📍 Location: Immediate shifts Avon, Avon Lake and surrounding area  
💲 Weekday Pay: $16 – $19/hr.     Weekend Premium Pay: $17 – $20/hr.
📅 Schedules Available:    Weekdays & Weekends | 9AM-1:00PM
