SERVICE AREAS
Serving clients across San Luis Obispo County including San Luis Obispo, Atascadero, Los Osos, Pismo Beach, Morro Bay, Paso Robles, Arroyo Grande, Oceano, Cambria, Templeton, Pismo Beach, Avilla Beach and Nipomo.

HOME CARE AIDE DUTIES

• Companion Care: Companionship, activities, hydration and nutrition reminders, light housekeeping, shopping and running errands, meal prep, laundry, med reminders, rides to errands and appointments.
• Personal Care: (In addition to Companion care duties) Grooming, stand-by or assist with showering and toileting, fall prevention, Parkinson’s and dementia care, monitor vitals and report changes in care needs.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a working Smartphone (PAID biweekly reimbursement)
• Read, write, and speak English at an average adult level.
• Driving/Transportation: Driving is an essential function of this position; must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle to perform client errands, transport clients and travel between client assignments when assigned.
  • Employees must maintain a valid driver's license, an acceptable motor vehicle record, access to a reliable vehicle, current vehicle registration, and automobile insurance meeting Company requirements.
• Must complete the CDSS-required Home Care Aide registration and Live Scan fingerprinting process
• Must satisfy the CDSS-required tuberculosis examination/documentation requirements
