Qualifications:

  • Compassionate and dedicated caregiver with over 5+ years of hands-on experience providing high-quality personal care to elderly and disabled clients in home and facility settings.
  • Highly skilled in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility support.
  • Proficient in safe patient handling techniques, including transfers using gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and wheelchairs.
  • Knowledgeable in monitoring vital signs, medication reminders, and documenting changes in physical and emotional conditions.
  • Trained in infection control, hygiene management, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and families.
  • Patient, reliable, and culturally sensitive, with a strong commitment to preserving client dignity and independence.
  • Able to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
  • Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with car insurance.
  • With a negative Tuberculosis test.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assisted clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding while maintaining dignity and comfort.
  • Provided mobility support, including safe transfers from bed to wheelchair, repositioning, and ambulation assistance.
  • Administered medication reminders and ensured adherence to prescribed care plans.
  • Prepared nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and assisted with feeding when necessary.
  • Maintained a clean, safe, and organized living environment to prevent infection and accidents.
  • Offered companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce isolation.
  • Assisted with light housekeeping duties, including laundry, dishwashing, and room sanitation.
  • Accompanied clients to medical appointments
  • Observed and reported changes in clients’ physical, emotional, or behavioral conditions to family members or healthcare professionals.
  • Followed safety protocols and infection control guidelines at all times.
