RN Nurse

A leading international senior home care company is seeking a dynamic leader to run our (city) location here. The RN is responsible for maintaining and developing medical care for clients in home health.  The nurse will develop a care plan for the patients medical needs based on the physician's documentations. 

The nurse will communicate expectations to the caregivers and to the administration 

• Manage the day-to-day operations
• Strategize the best medical care
• Train caregivers on steps of care allowed by the state of Texas
• Maintain detailed care notes and to keep the doctor informed
• Make suggestions for interventions and quality care
• Participate in wellness of the patient.
•  Disperse medicine and ensure medication is being taken
• Educate the patient on his/her health
• Oversee, training
• Adhere to federal, state, and local compliance practices.
• Adhere to processes and practices around company administration and policy.
• Oversee accurate time keeping and records; collaborate with Payroll.
• Maintain awareness of competitive landscape. Identify opportunities for market and client expansion, and new business development.
• Perform other tasks as assigned or needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred  but RN is acceptable
• Min. 1 year of operations and employee management experience required
• Senior care experience strongly preferred.
• Possess a strong business acumen
• Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
• Proactive with foreseeing potential issues and providing multiple resolutions
• Strong collaboration skills with both subordinate team and corporate partners
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required.
• Ability to learn software programs quickly.

Benefits:

• $50-$75 an hour depending on experience

• Advance to supervision
