Hourly Salary to be determined after interview and job offer. Service areas include High Point Lexington, Archdale, Denton, Pleasant Garden, Randleman, Sophia, Trinity,  Thomasville, Asheboro, Seagrove, Star, Biscoe, Candor, Troy, Seagrove, and Moore county. 

Core Responsibilities

Medication Administration: Medication technicians prepare and administer prescribed medications, including oral, topical, and some injectable forms, following the five rights of medication administration: right patient, right medication, right dose, right route, and right time. They may also assist patients with self-administration when appropriate.  Medication Management: Technicians maintain proper storage, organization, and inventory of medications, coordinating with pharmacies for refills and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Special attention is required for controlled substances and narcotics, following legal and facility regulations. 
 
 
Patient Education and Support: They provide guidance to patients and families about medications, including potential side effects and adherence to prescribed regimens, while offering emotional support and encouragement. 
 
 

Regulatory Compliance: Medication technicians must adhere to state and federal laws, facility policies, and safety protocols, ensuring all medication administration is legally compliant.
