Recruiting Coordinator
3101 Kintzley Ct Unit J, LaPorte, CO
Full Time
Every senior we care for depends on one thing: the right caregiver walking through their door. As our Recruiting Coordinator, you're the person who finds them.
Senior Helpers Northern Colorado provides in-home care that helps older adults across Northern Colorado and southern Wyoming stay safe and independent at home. We're looking for a driven, people-first recruiter to own caregiver hiring from first conversation to first shift. You'll be the front door to our team, and you'll hold the door to a high standard.
This isn't a post-and-wait job. If you love being out in the community, moving fast, and measuring your success by people who show up and stay, keep reading.
What you'll do
- Find great caregivers through job boards, CNA programs, schools, workforce centers, community events and referrals.
- Move fast: respond to applicants within a day and interview within the week.
- Screen with care: run structured interviews, verify availability, check references and credentials, and make clear hire decisions.
- Get new hires to day one: coordinate orientation and training, and personally make sure every new caregiver is ready for their first shift.
- Train to advance: collaborate with community educational settings to integrate skills trainings on a monthly cadence to advance our existing caregivers to higher levels.
- Work as one team with our Caregiver Manager and Scheduling team, so every hire matches real client needs and is set up to succeed.
- Own your numbers: track your hiring results and share them with leadership each week.
What success looks like
You'll have a monthly hiring goal tied to real open shifts. More importantly, you'll own the quality of your hires and their ongoing growth, measured by how many are still thriving at 30, 60 and 90 days. We hold a high bar for who joins our team, and we'll back you in holding it.
What you bring
- 2+ years of high-volume recruiting, staffing or hiring experience, ideally for hourly or frontline roles.
- Results you can share: hires made, quality of hires via success in role and longevity, ability to track and present rates and retention.
- Confidence on the phone and energy for connecting with people.
- Strong organization and comfort with recruiting or scheduling software.
- A valid driver's license, reliable transportation and auto insurance for local travel.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Nice to have: home care or healthcare experience, a caregiver or CNA background, WellSky experience, community connections in Northern Colorado, bilingual English/Spanish.
Pay, schedule and benefits
- Base pay: $25-27 per hour, based on experience.
- Benefits: health, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, mileage reimbursement.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday daytime, with occasional evening or Saturday hiring events.
- Location: our Fort Collins office, with local travel across Northern Colorado and Cheyenne.
