Objective:           The Care Team Manager will provide oversight and supervision of the care team with primary focus on the care givers and their day-to-day management. 

Reports to:         Owner

 

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Coaching and behavior modification sessions with caregivers as needed for optimal performance
  • Assist with morale building recognition programs for the caregivers such as Caregiver of the Month, acknowledgments of high level performance and training completions
  • With support from the internal staff, review the daily logs and time sheets weekly to assure that the caregivers are following the care plan and that lost hours are identified
  • Creates and runs ads accordingly based on data from hiring for the void
  • Does initial phone screening for all applicants
  • Distributes materials from the lending library to the caregivers on a regular basis to meet client needs and supplemental education for care givers
  • Works with office admin on background and reference checks to assure that all caregiver files meet state regulations and SH standards
  • Tracks all caregiver call offs, refusals of assignments, late arrivals, early departures, etc.
  • Manages training programs for caregivers (Gems, Parkinsons, etc.) and maintains the supplemental support materials
  • Keeps database of caregivers in Wellsky software current
  • Occasional care delivery for clients on an as needed basis
  • Periodic weekend call duties on a rotational basis as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

           This is a Developmental Role and will potentially lead to increased responsibility and growth within the organization

This job description may be modified at any time by the franchisee. Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned. Compensation includes a monthly performance bonus.

 

Qualifications

  • Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment
  • Must have excellent phone skills and follow-up skills with prospects, clients, and client families
  • Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability
  • Minimum of six months experience in an HR role -or- management role including hiring and terminating
  • Industry experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree and one year of related work experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required
  • Ability to learn other software programs quickly
  • Strong verbal communication skills, especially using the telephone
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
