Responsibilities:

  • Assists Fixed Operations Director with day-to-day operations.
  • Run an efficient and profitable service department through productive staffing, customer retention, cost controls, achievement of objectives, and maintenance of all service records.
  • Delegating and directing service tasks, monitoring the progress of current projects, and managing service team members to ensure the team's objectives and sales goals are met.
  • Handling customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships and ensure repeat customers.
  • Assisting with or performing administrative tasks, such as managing and updating invoices, processing new orders, and tracking inventory.
  • Resolving service desk problems and improving service methods to increase the service desk's productivity and customer service.
  • Auditing work and customer service to ensure the company's high standards, efficiency, and productivity goals are met.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with manufacturers, dealers, and sales representatives.
  • Helping to train new employees in company procedures.
  • Monitors technicians' daily productivity reports and corresponding payroll records.
  • Maintaining a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, ensuring the company's adherence to these regulations, and remaining current on the industry's standards and new innovations, materials, tools, and processes.
  • Understanding and compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
  • Accounts for all documents; ensures that none are missing, and all are processed correctly.
  • Manages department performance, efficiency, and productivity control.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years Dealership Experience (Service).
  • 3+ Years Management Experience.
  • Strong Industry Knowledge.
  • Preferred Stellantis & Dealertrack DMS experience
  • Maintains professional appearance.
  • Must be willing to work Saturdays.
  • High School Diploma
  • Must be flexible with schedule changes.
  • Must be flexible in accepting assignments of various support tasks in a frequently changing work environment in an often-fast paced workplace with tight deadlines.
  • Strong computer & multi-tasking skills
  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented, dependable, and self-motivated.
  • The ability to work under pressure and handle stress.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with dealership staff & management.
  • All applicants must complete a background check, driving record, and may be required to complete a pre-employment drug test.
